Fool-Proof Vanilla Buttercream

This is my all time go-to vanilla buttercream recipe, perfect for filling or frosting cakes or piping onto cupcakes. It's easy to make, tastes absolutely delicious and holds its shape well, even in warmer weather.

vanilla

powdered sugar
(approx)

tbsp
milk
(approx)

Instructions
Whip butter and vanilla together until fluffy using a hand mixer or a stand mixer.
80 g butter,
1 tsp vanilla
Gradually add the powdered sugar and milk, and continue whipping until the desired consistency is achieved.
8 dl powdered sugar,
4-5 tbsp milk

: Approx 500 ml (2 cups), typically enough to frost 12-16 cupcakes or a Ø22 cm (9 inch) cake.
