  • Muffins have a denser texture, are usually less sweet, and more filling, such as blueberry muffins or lemon raspberry muffins. They may have a crumb topping, a light glaze, or a sprinkle of sugar, but are typically not decorated. This makes muffins a great choice for breakfast or a snack, whereas cupcakes are purely a treat for your sweet tooth.
