A Perfect Summer Dessert in a Glass
I love how trifle looks so elegant with its pretty layers and yet is so incredibly easy to make! This amazing raspberry chocolate brownie trifle is no exception! The base features rich, fudgy brownie pieces that bring a fantastic chocolatey texture and flavor, while fresh strawberries add sweetness that pairs perfectly. Layers of vanilla ice cream make it an ideal summer dessert, loved by both adults and kids—and a dollop of whipped cream on top adds the perfect finishing touch!
This Brownie Trifle is Perfect For:
- Serving a crowd
- When you need a dessert that can be eaten standing up
- A dessert that appeals to all ages
- Cooling down on a warm summer day
- Using up leftover brownies
My Favorite Brownie Recipe
This raspberry chocolate brownie trifle is made up of four key elements:
- Brownie pieces
- Fresh strawberries (or raspberries)
- Vanilla ice cream
- Whipped cream
You can easily use leftover brownies from the day before, simply breaking or cutting them into bite-sized pieces. Or you can whip up a quick batch of my favorite brownie recipe. My brownies can easily be made a day ahead of serving, as they stay moist and delicious for several days.

How to Make This Delicious Raspberry Brownie Trifle
Making this brownie trifle is super simple. Just have all your ingredients ready, and layer them one on top of the other. You can go for “random” layers like I did, or arrange them neatly for a more polished look. Either way, it’ll look stunning in a nice glass.
Feel free to use different types of berries. I particularly love strawberries or raspberries, as they complement the vanilla and chocolate flavors beautifully.
