In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar using a hand whisk, electric mixer, or stand mixer.

Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.

Meanwhile, mix the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon in another bowl. Sift the flour mixture into the egg mixture.

Add the melted butter and water. Stir the liquid batter together using a whisk, hand mixer, or stand mixer.

Grease your baking pan, such as a 22x32 cm (9x13 inch) rectangular pan or a 26 cm (10 inch) springform pan. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
Melt the butter for the cinnamon topping. Brush the surface of the cake with the melted butter using a pastry brush. Mix sugar and cinnamon together to make cinnamon sugar and sprinkle it evenly over the buttered surface of the cake.
50 g butter, 1 dl sugar, Cinnamon to taste
Bake the cinnamon cake at 180°C (350°F) for 45-60 minutes*.
Notes
**Baking time may vary depending on the type of baking pan you use. Check the cake as it bakes to ensure it is properly baked. The cinnamon cake is done when a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.The cinnamon cake can be frozen for up to 3 months.
